Confidential · Sliding Scale · Independent
The right treatment exists. Finding it shouldn't be the hardest part.
Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or terrified for someone you love, we help you navigate a crowded, confusing treatment landscape — with confidential assessments, independent due diligence, and guidance priced so cost is never the reason you don't ask for help.
We are an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We accept no referral fees from treatment facilities.
Choosing treatment is nothing like booking a hotel.
But that's how the internet makes you shop for it: glossy photos, star ratings, and whoever bought the top ad slot. A pool and a nice lobby tell you nothing about clinical quality — and this decision doesn't come with a refund policy. Our team does the due diligence a family can't do from a search bar.
What the search results show you
- Photos of pools, palm trees, and lobbies
- Rankings driven by marketing budgets, not outcomes
- Reviews that can't tell you if the clinical program fits your situation
- Call centers paid per admission, whoever you are
- No mention of licensing lapses, waitlists, or staff turnover
What actually determines the right fit
- The clinically appropriate level of care — detox, residential, PHP, IOP, outpatient
- Verified state licensing and current accreditation
- Credentialed clinical staff and dual-diagnosis capability
- Real payer acceptance, real wait times, real capacity
- Fit with your work schedule, family obligations, and transportation
The window of willingness is short. We help families move from "we need help" to a concrete, vetted plan while that window is still open.
Our recommendations come from firsthand due diligence and working relationships with local providers — verified directly, and re-verified over time.
Level of care, insurance, schedule, family situation, co-occurring needs — the right fit depends on all of it. We match to the whole person, not the best brochure.
What we do
Three ways to get from confusion to a clear next step — each confidential, each grounded in clinical training and firsthand knowledge of how the treatment industry actually works.
Navigation Consultations
One-on-one guidance for individuals and families weighing treatment options. We talk through your situation, explain levels of care in plain language, and identify realistic options that fit your insurance, schedule, and circumstances.
Sliding scaleClearPath Navigator
A confidential online assessment that produces a personalized intake report: a clinical summary, a recommended level of care, and your top facility matches from our vetted database — each with the reasoning behind it and a concrete next step.

When a loved one isn't ready, families still need a plan. Guidance from trained interventionists on how to prepare, what to say, when to act — and how to take care of yourselves in the meantime.
Sliding scaleHow it works
A clear path from first contact to first day of treatment.
Reach out — confidentially
Call, email, or start the ClearPath online assessment. No commitment, no judgment, and nothing shared with anyone without your explicit consent.
We assess the whole picture
Substance use history, mental health, insurance and finances, work and family obligations, transportation, prior treatment — everything that determines what will actually work for you.
You receive a personal report
A recommended level of care and your top facility matches, drawn from our independently vetted database — with wait times, payer acceptance, and the reasoning laid out plainly.
We help you take the next step
Warm handoffs to admissions teams, help with insurance questions, and follow-up so you don't navigate the hardest week of the process alone.
Worried about someone you love?
You don’t have to wait for rock bottom, and you don’t need their permission to get guidance. Most of the families we work with reach out long before the person is ready — and that head start matters.
The signs families see first
- Hiding, minimizing, or lying about use
- Money problems or missing valuables
- Mood swings and withdrawal from family
- Trouble at work or school
- Decline in health or self-care
You can act before they’re ready
Willingness usually arrives in brief windows. Families who already have a vetted plan — the right level of care, a program that takes their insurance, an admissions contact — are the ones who can use those windows. We help you build that plan now.
Support for you, too
Addiction is a family illness. Our consultations cover boundaries, communication, and intervention — and we’ll connect you with support for yourself, from family counseling to groups like Al-Anon and Nar-Anon.
Who we are
Addiction Recovery Partners was founded on a simple observation from the front lines: the people who most need treatment are the least equipped to find it.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built by people who have lived this — in recovery ourselves, at the bedside as counselors and interventionists, in facility admissions offices, and in the boardrooms of the recovery community. That mix of lived experience and professional discipline shapes everything we do.
"Nobody should have to become an expert in the treatment industry during the worst week of their life. That's our job."
Every recommendation we make reflects our own due diligence: site visits, verified licensing and accreditation, real wait times, and honest conversations with the people who run these programs. We accept no payment from facilities, ever. Our only client is you.
Clinical grounding
Licensed chemical dependency counseling, clinical mental health training, and daily frontline assessment experience.
Lived recovery
Long-term sobriety on our team — we know what the first phone call feels like from both sides of it.
Intervention training
Trained interventionists who work with families when a loved one isn't ready to accept help yet.
Financial discipline
Chartered financial expertise applied to due diligence, facility vetting, and honest sliding-scale pricing.
Cost should never be the barrier
Private navigation and intervention services typically cost $2,500 to $10,000 or more. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we price our services on a sliding scale based on what you can honestly afford.
Tier 1 — Supported
For those in financial hardship, services are free or nearly free. You self-attest your situation — no income documentation required.
Tier 2 — Standard
A modest fee that covers our costs, for households with moderate means. Most clients fall here.
Tier 3 — Sustaining
Clients who can pay full fee help underwrite free services for families who can't. Every sustaining fee keeps the door open for someone else.
We'll discuss the fee openly in your first conversation. It will never be a surprise, and it will never stand between you and help.
If you need help right now
We are not a crisis line. These services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and they are free.
Call or text, 24/7. Free, confidential support for anyone in emotional distress or crisis.
Free, confidential treatment referral and information service for substance use and mental health.

The ClearPath Navigator assessment takes about 15 minutes and comes in two versions — one for you, one for family members worried about someone else. It's confidential, and there are no right or wrong answers.
A crisis check is built into the first questions. If your answers indicate immediate risk, you'll be connected to crisis resources right away.
